The subject body
Cómeme comes from the awareness of the power of the image. In a capitalist and patriarchal politico-social context, the construction of the collective imagination, and therefore of our identities, relationships, desires and sensations, is based on stereotyped and heteronormative images that limit our creative, sensitive, experiential potential. The body becomes the object, the desire mere consumption.
This project, totally personal, is a collection of erotic poetry and creative writings, visual compositions and collages, modeled by myself in a self-edition of my own design.
In Cómeme I allow myself, from the word and the form, the concept and the image, the poetry and the collage (in this case, of express way using advertising images), the one of and re construction of meanings, senses and forms, vindicating my freer voice, appropriating my own voice.
FROM IDEA TO FORM, THE DESIGN
