Design of the new publication of the Taula Veïnal d’Urbanisme de BCN
Marea Urbana is a publication of the Barcelona Neighborhood Planning Board inspired by social movements to demand improvements and quality in public policies, such as the white tide in the health sector or the yellow tide in the education sector. The term seeks to articulate a transversal and broad-spectrum social movement, linked to the city and the use of spaces.
The editorial design proposal, inspired by urban art and architecture itself, is articulated under a seal that takes the stencil as a reference. It is committed to a versatile, clear and casual editorial layout that allows working in two and three columns, the combination of different fonts for headlines and highlights, and provides space for the wide images that accompany the articles.
